Amazing team :) They were super efficient and helpful, making the hiring process go smoothly. My hiring process was complex at times, but they were always one step ahead and made sure everything went smoothly with government agencies, personal legal requirements, and so on. They were also very friendly and responsive! Cheers :)

If you work in IT and want to relocate to the Netherlands, I highly recommend applying at Zoostation. They helped me with all the steps involved in relocation, and guided me through the process of moving, finding a home, and getting settled in the Netherlands. Everything went quite smoothly for me and my wife. I’m grateful for all their help and happy to recommend them!

This is a nice place to work at. Really smooth relocation experience, every step is documented and the process is clear. They also help with finding an apartment (which is not an easy task nowadays in the Netherlands) and arranging all documents for residence permit, rulling, GP and health insurance. Special thanks to Martine who always replies to all Netherlands-related questions. Only good impression
Awesome company! Started off working for ZooStation since April, 2022 and I have been working at the client's headquarters. The whole relocation process, guidance once you arrive in the country, register to the different government entities, everything went smoothly. The people working at ZooStation are so nice and willing to help you with any concern or question you have. If you want to have an opportunity to get a job abroad, this would be a valuable option. Therefore, I have had a great experience with them so far.

ZooStation helped me make my dream of working abroad a reality. Their support made the immigration process easy for me. Remco and Martine are great; they understand when you have problems with your project and look for ways to help. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Thank you for all your support.

I have no more than good words about ZooStation. Remco and Martine are wonderful persons who do their best in order to help one with relocation . Unfortunately and due to personal issues I wasn't able to complete the process and they were very comprehensive about the situation. I do recommend this company to anyone looking for a job in The Netherlands and I expect to have the opportunity to work with them again in better circumstances.

The first time I decided to leave home country to pursue professional opportunity ZooStation was there to help me. But they didn't just help me. They make it possible, arranged everything, prepared and planned all the details. It was really so smooth transition, that I enjoyed it 100%. Team at ZooStation is perfect and so reliable. I really like working with them! Thank you for everything once again! :)

The people behind YourExpats

Our team combines expertise in immigration, relocation, and HR processes. Every day, we help employers and international employees navigate complex regulations and practical challenges.

We believe that technology simplifies processes, but that personal advice remains indispensable.

Does YourExpats help with compliance obligations?

Yes. We help employers manage important deadlines, documentation, and immigration obligations.

Can employees upload documents themselves?

Yes. Employees have access to their own workspace where they can upload documents and track tasks.

Do I need to know about immigration to use the platform?

No. The platform guides users step by step, and our team is available to provide additional support.

Can I request a demo?

Yes. Schedule a no-obligation demo and discover how YourExpats can support your international processes.

What types of companies is YourExpats suitable for?

YourExpats supports employers who hire, relocate, and onboard international employees in the Netherlands.

Can I check off a task on behalf of a candidate?

Yes, as an employer or HR user, you can mark certain tasks as completed on behalf of a candidate. This is useful when a step has already been confirmed internally, a document has been received outside the platform, or an action has been taken by HR. This keeps the onboarding process organized and ensures that everyone can see which steps are still pending.

We recommend marking a task as complete only after the information has actually been verified or finalized. This ensures that the administrative processes related to international onboarding, immigration, documentation, and compliance remain reliable.

What do certain laws and regulations mean, such as the 183-day rule, the Wtta, the A1 certificate, or the Posted Workers Register?

Employees working abroad may be subject to various laws and regulations. Examples include the 183-day rule for tax purposes, the Wtta (Temporary Employment Act) when workers are posted, an A1 certificate for social security, or a registration in the Posted Workers Register when a foreign employer temporarily assigns employees to work in the Netherlands.

The applicable obligations depend on the situation. Important questions include, for example: Where does the employee live? Where is the work performed? Who is the employer? Who provides management and supervision? How long does the assignment last? And through which party is the contract arranged?

YourExpats helps employers systematically identify these international compliance issues. This gives you a better understanding of immigration, HR compliance, taxes, social security, Wtta risks, and reporting requirements for international employees.

What should I keep in mind if someone lives in a country other than the one where they are a citizen?

An employee’s nationality and the country where they live are not always the same, and this can be important for immigration, tax, social security, and labor law. For example, an employee may be an EU national but live outside the EU. Or someone may work in the Netherlands but be a tax resident of another country.

That is why it is important to consider not only the passport, but also the place of residence, work location, residency status, employment contract, social security status, and any tax obligations. In some situations, an A1 certificate, posted worker notification, residence permit, or additional compliance check may also be required.

YourExpats helps employers centrally record this information and assess, on a per-employee basis, what steps are needed. This keeps international hiring organized, compliant, and more manageable.
